I've caught bits and pieces of this show and I almost get hooked every time, but it just seems so relentlessly sad and bitter. It's like a Cheever story on a lot of booze. Kudos to them for creating such a powerful story but I can't do it...yet! I will get the dvd's someday and hole up with a G&T.

All you need to do is watch the entire first episode and you'll be hooked. The show is that good & the great thing is it keeps getting better & better as you go along. And, a martini would be more in line than a G&T.
