Tom Parsons

A few years ago, I showed no shame in scraping up a ticket for George Carlin set at the BEA in Chicago. I believe he was invited because the theme was, Freedom Of Expression. The first thing that came right out of his mouth caused a group of people to get up and leave. I thought, this is going to be an interesting night, because he is going to test how much of an advocate for free speech, these folks really are. And he did. About have way through, another group of people got up and left. Interesting. I'm really glad I got to see him and it's not going to be the same without his observations.
