Jim Dale

omigod...he reads the Arthur and the Invisibles CD!!  (He's a god in our house. When I met both J.K. Rowling and Dale at a party years back, my daughter said: "You met Jim Dale!!")

With three little kids in the backseat, and just me at the wheel, the combination of Jim Dale and Harry Potter made driving from the Grand Canyon to Tucson a memorable and tolerable experience. Whenever I think of that trip, I think of many plot points made vivid by Mr. Dale.
