Sprad's book is indeed a kick-ass roller-coaster ride. It is fun all the way through; I gobbled it up and actually yelled about the cliffhanger (embarrassingly enough, at the gym). I also play in a fantasy baseball league with Mr. Spradlin :). He's the only one in the league, other than Eric Svenson (whom I've known for some time) that I've ever met in the flesh. But a great bunch of Harper (and one Wiley, and me) guys.
