Pauline Ziniker

We have and love the John Fahey Christmas album, but you should check out Bruce Cockburn's album, simply entitled: Christmas. You can tell he loves the songs and he has such a great voice.

Bootsy Collins has a new Xmas CD that is really funkin' great, and Sufjan Stevens just officially released a box set of holiday tunes he's recorded over the past few years. Aimee Mann has a new holiday CD out. Not sure why, but lately the holidays are bringing out the best in many artists.

Ditto on the Bruce Cockburn recommendation, and I'm also a big fan of Los Straitjackets' surf guitar holiday album, and the Blind Boys of Alabama's gospel Christmas CD.
